A Comprehensive Guide To: Summer Footwear

Friends! How pleased I am to finally return. Since I left you in the care of Audrey a week and a half ago, I have written two final exams, two features, a forty-five percent final paper, and perhaps most significantly, moved out of my beloved apartment in Montréal with that ceiling and that balcony, and back to my hometown for the summer before jetting off to the land of green, Guinness, and Philip Treacy, maker of this.

While I tend to favour a sturdy Oxford for traversing the walk to and from campus during the school year, Summer has freed my feet from the bounds of the academy, and baby, several hours of Net-A-Porter later, I have amassed a personal list of need-them-now shoes for the S/S season. I've whittled it down for this post because I swear it might've exceeded my bandwidth capacity otherwise.

While my workplace requires I wear black TOMS, which are ethical and altruistic, blah blah et cetera, I'll dream about this pair of colour block Alexander Wang Chloe perch-trimmed leather sandals, instead thank you. They give back in sheer badassery. Honestly, if somebody kicked me in the shin wearing a pair of these, I wouldn't even mind.

Anyway, glad to be back, babes! Love you all more than Philip Treacy did Beatrice, it would appear.
